The Market Shops, located at the entrance to Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, announces Pure CRE’s return as center leasing agency and new merchant, Amavida Coffee and Tea.
After a short intermission, Pure Commercial Real Estate (Pure CRE) has returned as the active leasing agency for The Market Shops. The relationship between the two entities dates back to before the center’s extensive renovations were completed in 2015. In fact, Pure CRE’s founder, Doreen Baca, was responsible for the leasing of thirteen retail spaces included that of Bijoux Restaurant & Spirits and Sacred Heart Medical Group, which houses primary care physicians for adult and pediatric patients, walk-in services and pediatric after-hours care. The Northwest Florida based commercial real estate company has been around since 1999. Company founder and Commercial Realtor Doreen Baca and her husband Jerry have an unfailing drive to measure success by client satisfaction.
“When the opportunity presented itself to once again serve as the leasing agency for The Market Shops we did not hesitate,” said Doreen Baca. “I remember sitting in the Gazebo Courtyard in 2013, prior to the center’s renovations began, dreaming of how The Market Shops could be brought back to life. We’re optimistic at the opportunity to see our vision of a fully leased center with a diverse and engaging tenant-mix come to fruition.”
Currently under renovation in the space beneath The Market Shops’ iconic clock tower next to Baytowne Jewelers, The Market Shops is thrilled to announce the opening of Amavida Coffee and Tea in March 2018.  Established in 2004, Amavida Coffee and Tea is an organic, fair trade coffee company that delivers the flavorful and freshly roasted coffee beans to retailers and wholesale suppliers in Florida and beyond. With locations in Panama City, Rosemary Beach and Seaside, Florida, the local company is even roasting their coffee locally in their South Walton Commerce Park facility. By producing the freshest, highest-quality coffee products, Amavida has become a popular spot for coffee, espresso, and smoothies. “Amavida” – a combination of Spanish words for love, “amar” and life, “vida” – is a simple name that voices their commitments and speaks to their purpose. Amavida Coffee and Tea will be open daily.
“At Amavida Coffee, our goal is to build meaningful relationships with coffee farmers, suppliers, employees and the environment, while sourcing premium organic, fair trade coffee beans and serving delicious beverages to our customers,” said founder Dan Bailey.
