Due to ongoing construction timelines and final preparations for the space, the grand opening celebration for Costa Family McDonald’s Alf Coleman location has been rescheduled.
Originally planned for May 19, the event will now take place on:
- Date: Tuesday, June 9, 2026
- Time: 9:30 a.m.
- Address: 11852 Panama City Beach Parkway
The additional time will allow the team to ensure every detail is complete and ready to provide guests with the best possible experience.
“We’re incredibly excited to welcome the community and appreciate everyone’s patience as we put the finishing touches on the space,” said David Costa Jr., Costa Family McDonald’s Owner/Operator.
Guests can still expect a ribbon cutting, which will take place at 9:30 a.m., followed by a grand opening celebration beginning at 10:30 a.m. To mark the occasion, the first 50 drive-thru customers will receive free Happy Meals for a year. Guests can begin lining up as early as 6 a.m. The new location will officially open after a commemorative ribbon cutting with the Bay County Chamber of Commerce. The Costa family will also present checks to local police and fire departments as well as Arnold High School and Hutchinson Beach Elementary School.
