Henderson Park Inn is set to reopen to the public on Friday, May 15. The team behind the Inn has worked diligently to create a new set of procedures in order to better protect their guests and employees.
Henderson Park Inn closed its doors on March 21 due to the heightened concern for the spread of COVID-19. The owners and management staff of both the Inn and Beach Walk Café have developed an updated guest experience policy and procedure guideline in order to practice safe social distancing as well as preventative measures when it comes to hygiene and cleanliness of the property and its visitors. Some of the new updated policies include installing a plexiglass barrier on the front desk, no valet parking, limited housekeeping services, in-room dining options, and newly installed hand-sanitizing stations located throughout the property.
“It was necessary for us to revisit our cleaning policy and guest interaction procedures,” said owner, Shannon Howell. “This is our new normal and in order to make the best of a situation, we have to adapt and learn how to be better for everyone.”
In the weeks leading up to reopening the Inn, staff have been trained on the new guidelines and procedures. They have also cleaned and prepared the property for upcoming reservations and diners to Beach Walk Café.
