Beginning, Wednesday, April 22,Costa Enterprises McDonald’s will be offering free “Thank You Meals” for all first responders including healthcare workers, firefighters, police officers, and paramedics with a valid ID, badge, or uniform. This is a part of a national initiative created by McDonald’s to say thank you to those who have been putting themselves on the front lines to help their communities and those in need during the heightened concern of COVID-19.
Each “Thank You Meal” will be available at no charge via drive thru at all Costa Enterprises McDonald’s restaurants through May 5, including Bluewater Bay, Niceville, all Navarre locations, Mossy Head, all Crestview locations, Marianna I-10, Marianna Lafayette, Cottondale, Bonifay, Chipley, DeFuniak Springs, Harrison, Long Beach, Long Beach Walmart, Surfside, Lynn Haven, Blountstown, Callaway Walmart, Port St. Joe, Pier Park, and 23rd Street in Panama City, Fla.
The Thank You Meal, available during breakfast, lunch or dinner, will feature a choice of sandwiches, drinks, and a side featuring small World-Famous Fries or a Hash Brown, along with a note of appreciation. It will be served in McDonald’s iconic Happy Meal box, in the hopes of bringing a smile along with delicious food.
Costa Enterprises McDonald’s has kept their 24 locations open and operating for business during the heightened concern of COVID-19. The company has taken action to provide the utmost care, health and safety of their employees and loyal patrons. Recently, Costa Enterprises created custom protective masks for all of their employees to wear. Each mask features a McDonald’s signature smile in the hope of spreading a little bit of happiness to each of their customers. They also launched their own campaign, “Free Meals for Heroes” that offered complimentary combo meals to all healthcare workers. From March 18-31, 2020, Costa Enterprises served over 9,000 meals.
