Proffitt PR, a boutique Public Relations, Marketing and Event Planning firm, has announced the promotion of Taylor Sheekley to Marketing Manager. She will have the primary responsibility for managing all public relations, marketing and advertising initiatives for the 40 plus clients Proffitt PR manages.

Sheekley, 24, joined the company in 2018 as the Marketing Coordinator and quickly took on multiple projects including event design, social media management, photography and graphic design in addition to her original job roles. As an integral part of the team, she manages the day-to-day operation of the office, attends networking events, coordinates schedules for the company and maintains a high level of organization in order to accomplish deadlines for all clients. Sheekley graduated with honors from University of Florida in 2017 where she received a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations. She is a past board member and current member of the Florida Public Relations Association, Walton Area Chamber of Commerce, and Young Professionals of Walton County.
