On Thursday, September 26, from 5:30-11:00 p.m., Step One Automotive Group will host a Grand Opening Gala and ribbon cutting to commemorate the company’s new Pensacola location, Buick GMC Cadillac Pensacola, located at 5651 Pensacola Blvd.

The event marks the formal opening of the recently acquired dealership with a deep-rooted history in the Pensacola area. The dealership was originally founded by Vince Whibbs, a much-beloved former Pensacola mayor, businessman and civic leader, in 1958. Step One Automotive Group is dedicated to honoring the strong legacy of the Whibbs family and remains committed to the Pensacola community now and into the future. In order to officially welcome the new dealership to the community, there will be a multiple-chamber ribbon cutting with the Pensacola Beach, Gulf Breeze, Navarre Beach, and the Greater Pensacola Chambers of Commerce at 5 p.m

“The gala is an opportunity for us to introduce ourselves to the Pensacola community, and showcase our dedication to service, quality, and excellence,” said Step One Automotive Group managing director, Fernando Arellano.

During the grand opening celebration, guests will enjoy craft cocktails from Old Hickory Whiskey Bar, dancing, heavy hors d’oeuvres by Classic City Catering, along with sushi rolled on-site by Dharma Blue’s award-winning sushi chef, Yoshi Eddings. Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of champagne, multiple photo opportunities, and music as they enter the Buick GMC Cadillac dealership. Proceeds from this event will benefit the American Heart Association.

Step One Automotive Group will be rolling out the red carpet to introduce the 2019 GMC Sierra Gulf Coast Edition and the allnew 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 HD truck during the event. They will also be giving away a weekend with the Cadillac XT6 and a complimentary dinner

“We look forward to celebrating with our employees, customers, families, neighbors and friends,” Arellano said. We are excited to be part of this wonderful community and invite the public to join us at our Grand Opening Gala.”

The gala is free and open to the public. Dress code is also black tie optional. Those planning to attend must to RSVP online at https://www.steponeautomotive.com/grand-opening.htm
