“Beer & Bourbon Event to Raise Funds for Children in Crisis”
Local company Wine World will once again team up with The Henderson Beach Resort & Spa to host an exclusive craft beer and bourbon tasting event raising funds for Children in Crisis. This year’s main event will take place on Saturday, November 9th, from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, on the scenic pool deck and lawn at The Henderson.
Proceeds from the very first #DestinCrafted exceeded expectations; over $13,000 was donated to Children in Crisis and The Children’s Neighborhood. This year, hosts and sponsors are setting their sights even higher.
“This isn’t our first rodeo,” explains Chan Cox, Wine World Founder & President, “Our team has years of experience with Destin Beer Festival and the South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival. Partnering with The Henderson has given us a new gorgeous setting, but more importantly it brought new friendships and fresh ideas to the table. The collaboration is strong and the event will get better every year, guaranteed!”
Destin Crafted will feature hundreds of samples from over 40 renowned small-production breweries & distilleries alongside food from Destin’s favorite eateries with live music entertainment and more. Guests will also have the option to enter a raffle for a grand prize, raising additional funds for the charity.
This year, an extra event has been added to the schedule. First, the weekend kicks-off with an exclusive cocktail party on the rooftop Sunset Vista at The Henderson on Friday November 8th. Then, Sunday morning after Saturday’s main event, VIP’s will also attend a special “Beer ‘n Brunch” at The Craft Bar in Destin.
Pre-sale tickets are available now at destincrafted.com. General Admission is $50 per person and includes the grand tasting on Saturday, with live music performance and raffle. A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $145 each, and include access to all three events, Friday through Sunday. All scheduled events are 21+, adults-only.
