DESTIN, Fla. (August 13, 2018) – McCaskill & Company will showcase renowned jewelry designs from Michael Bondanza for a Bring Your Own Coin (BYOC) event, exclusively hosted at their Destin location. On Friday and Saturday, September 7- 8, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., guests are invited each day to bring their own personal coin or special heirloom to create their very own piece of customized jewelry. There will also be a large selection of rare, vintage coins for purchase as well.
The BYOC event is part of McCaskill & Company’s 2018 Schedule of Events. Usually, the events and trunk shows are centered around a designer bringing in their latest collection of jewels for the public to view and purchase. However, this special event is focused on the clientele and the community creating pieces from their personal possessions and turning them into a bracelet, ring, necklace, cuff, or pair of earrings. Exclusive to this event, guests will be able to send their personal coin back to Bondanza, for him and his team to create a one-of-a-kind piece that cannot be found in any of his collections.
Michael Bondanza is a self-taught artisan who is dedicated to providing timeless, handcrafted pieces while also incorporating and experimenting with new innovative techniques. Throughout his career, Bondanza has achieved international recognition for his creative and dynamic use of platinum and gold metals. In return, he has achieved high marks amongst the designer and retail communities along with numerous awards, including the Triple Zero Award from the American Gem Society.
There will be light refreshments during the event and it is free and open to the public to attend.
