So incase you’ve been living under a rock and are completely out of tune with the oh-so-informative social media sphere, we’d like to introduce you to amici 30A Italian Kitchen. Our area’s newest eatery!
Back story: Proffitt PR was brought on board by the Corchis family {George, Amy, Jordin, Nathan, Alyssa & Lily} in June 2016 to collaborate on the Italian eateries brand. Proffitt PR has worked closely with the amici 30A team from logo conception to their first meal served. Which is why we were drooling long before the world ever got a glimpse of the awesome-ness that was to come from the kitchen.Â
After months of planning, anticipation, tossed pizza dough and handmade pastas the time has come. amici 30A is OPEN! The Proffitt PR ladies and their beaus got gussied up recently and hit the road running to 30Avenue for dinner at amici 30A Italian Kitchen with BrandNüe Strategic Creative‘s Paul Landers and wife Debbie. Fun fact – Paul Landers and John Wills of BrandNüe Strategic Creative are the masterminds behind amici 30A’s brand and logo creation. SUCH a talented team.
Upon entry the entire group was awe-struck seeing the Corchis’s dream literally come to life! It’s one thing to have seen the progress of construction- erected walls, framed windows, kitchen equipment, but to see everything that we had talked about from the picture wall stamped with amici 30A’s logo to the branded table corners. It was honestly one of the most amazing experiences.
After quick introductions to our server, Jessica, and hugs to the Corchis family, our group sat down to look over the menu!
We started with some small plates including the roasted veggies, amy’s meatballs, fresh ricotta and shrimp and creamy polenta. {Yes, we tried almost the whole small plates menu!}
As a sweet surprise, Amy brought a bowl of their warm cabbage to the table for everyone to try! It was such a hit! The dish was created by Chef Lock as homage to Amy’s polish heritage!
After the first course we were hooked. Of course, we “snapped” (Snapchat) “insta-ed” (Instagram) and Facebooked the entire thing so all of our friends could know about this goodness. The small plates were the perfect size for our group of 8 to pass, pick and enjoy! The plates were practically licked clean.
The group continued the Italian style eating for our entrees. We felt it best to all order something different so everyone could continue to try a bite of it all!
Levin, Chase and Paul went the pizza route, ordering the funghi, patate alla carbonara and pesto pizza!
The pizzas were undoubtedly some of the best we’ve had in awhile. They’re authentic Neapolitan pizza pies made in an innovative Marsal Pizza Oven known for its crispier, brick-oven styled crust. Delizioso!
Zach went against the pizza grain and ordered chicken parmigiana! It was absolutely beautiful, and equally as delicious.
Lexi enjoyed the caprese with homemade mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes, fresh basil, house made italian vinaigrette, and balsamic drizzle.
Jessica and Chelsea went for the carbs, because why not?! {Of course, we shared!}
Chelsea had the rigatoni bolognese. The imported pasta was dressed with classic italian meat sauce, san marzano tomatoes, fresh basil and parmigiana reggiano.
Jessica went for one of the spicier pasta dishes- amici 30A signature pasta! The mountain of rigatoni pasta was mixed with grilled free range chicken breast, cherry peppers, kalamata olives, roasted red peppers, san marzano tomatoes, cream and parmigiana reggiano.
Debbie loved the margherita pizza, made with fresh mozzarella, san marzano tomatoes, sweet basil and evoo.
Following each bite and pass of the plate was an emphatic reaction from all. Had we not been privy to knowing and loving the Corchis family this meal would have made us do so.
We have literally come full circle with the Corchis family. From sitting around their kitchen table editing their logo to sitting around their custom made, wooden, family style tables in their Italian Kitchen. Friends, fans and families, we invite you to feast to your hearts content on everything from belly satisfying pastas and entrees perfect for one to delicious Italian small plates that can be shared. The best part is everything is made with the best in locally-sourced ingredients!
We love the atmosphere and experience amici 30A offers, but if your in a hurry and unable to sit down to take in the ambiance you’re in luck! amici 30A just announced guests can now ORDER ONLINE.
