The Emerald Coast Community Wellness Foundation is pleased to announce its annual signature event, The Little Black Dress Party, will return on Saturday, February 20, 2027, with an elevated new theme, Velvet & Vogue.
Taking place at Hotel Effie, the premier fundraising event will bring together an evening of style, sophistication, and philanthropy in support of the foundation’s mission to improve access to mental health and wellness resources throughout the community.
Serving as honorary chairs for the 2027 Little Black Dress Party, Trey Abshier, CEO of Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast, and his wife, Brandy, will serve as the official event ambassadors, helping champion the Foundation’s mission. As ambassadors for the Foundation’s premier fundraising event, the Abshiers will welcome guests, share their connection to the cause, and help build support through community outreach, sponsorships, and fundraising initiatives.
Inspired by rich textures, bold glamour, and timeless sophistication, Velvet & Vogue will invite guests to slip into their favorite little black dress for a formal evening featuring a seated multi-course dinner, live music, cocktails, and dancing, as well as a silent and live auction showcasing art, trips, and experiences. Guests can look forward to a memorable night that pairs the glamour of a fashion-inspired affair with a meaningful purpose.
“The primary way we raise funds is through our signature event, The Little Black Dress Party,” said Mark Dutram, chairman of the Emerald Coast Community Wellness Foundation board. “This is more than just a fundraiser; it’s a celebration of community and compassion. The proceeds directly benefit health initiatives across our region, and thanks to the generosity and beautiful hearts of our community, we’ve been able to expand our reach year after year.”
Proceeds from the event will support the Emerald Coast Community Wellness Foundation and its efforts to expand access to essential mental health and wellness resources, helping strengthen individuals, families, and the broader community.
Various sponsorship opportunities and tables are available for businesses or individuals looking to get involved. The Emerald Coast Community Wellness Foundation would like to thank the local businesses already signed up to sponsor this year’s event, including BayView Private Wealth, Eglin Federal Credit Union, and Glohaus Aesthetics.
