A night of costumes, cocktails and philanthropy is coming to South Walton as the Foundation for Drug Interdiction (FDI) hosts its Inaugural Halloween Soirée on Saturday, October 31, from 7–11 p.m. at Drive The Coast, located at 342 South County Highway 393.
The elevated Halloween celebration welcomes guests for a festive evening featuring live entertainment from 12Eleven, handcrafted cocktails, a late-night DJ courtesy of Allonzy Events, and an immersive Halloween atmosphere, all while supporting the Foundation for Drug Interdiction and its mission to help prevent drug abuse and support individuals and families affected by it.
“We wanted to create an evening that is both sophisticated and spirited, an opportunity for our community to come together, celebrate Halloween and enjoy an exceptional experience, all while supporting a cause that has a meaningful impact on our community,” said Dr. Bill Burden, founder of FDI. “The Foundation for Drug Interdiction is proud to bring people together for an evening of celebration with a purpose, and we look forward to making this year’s soirée an unforgettable experience.”
The Foundation for Drug Interdiction supports the prevention of drug abuse and individuals struggling with drug abuse. Monetary support for the Sheriff’s Department and mental health services is among the organization’s top priorities, according to their website. The Foundation has previously provided funding for initiatives including drug-sniffing dogs and equipment for the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
The Halloween Soirée offers guests an opportunity to support that mission while enjoying a sophisticated night out with friends. Attendees are encouraged to embrace the spirit of Halloween and showcase their most creative costumes for an evening where philanthropy meets a little after-dark fun. The evening will also feature a costume contest, giving guests the chance to showcase their most creative Halloween looks. The winner will take home a gift certificate from Destin Plastic Surgery.
The Halloween Soirée is open to guests ages 21 and older. General admission and VIP tickets are available at https://foundationdruginterdiction.com.
