Costa Family McDonald’s has announced that their second McDonald’s location in Santa Rosa Beach will be open on Tuesday, December 17. The company’s first McDonald’s in Santa Rosa Beach opened earlier this year in June.

David Costa Jr., owner and operator of Costa Family McDonald’s, along with local dignitaries and members from the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce will commemorate the opening with an official ribbon cutting ceremony. Beginning at 10 a.m. on opening day, the first 50 customers will also receive free Big Macs® for a year and a complimentary Grimace Christmas ornament.

The new restaurant was built by Stansell Properties & Development and spans 3,500 square feet, featuring a large parking area, drive thru, and plenty of dine-in space for patrons to enjoy. This location also features a new “After Hours Pick Up” area inside the building so McDelivery couriers can pick up orders and avoid the line in the drive thru when the lobby is closed. The newest Costa location will create over 50 jobs for the community.

This is the second Santa Rosa Beach location Costa has opened in 2024. With the two new locations, Costa plans to give back to the local community, schools, and charities surrounding each restaurant in Walton County. To kick off the season of giving, Costa Family McDonald’s will be presenting checks to South Walton High School and Butler Elementary School during the ribbon cutting. Since the company was founded in 1994, the Costa family has made it a pillar of their company framework to give back to the community and support in various ways.
