Jeff Watson and Watson Outdoor Media, Inc. have acquired Thirty-A Review, one of the Emerald Coast’s longest-running magazines, and will merge the publication into Watson’s VIP 30A Magazine, the newest VIP title celebrating five years.
Founded on April 1, 2004, Thirty-A Review has spent more than 22 years showcasing the people, places and experiences that make 30A and the surrounding Emerald Coast communities special. As one of the area’s most tenured publications, founder Miles Neiman is now passing the publication’s legacy to Watson, who brings more than two decades of experience in the publishing industry.
Watson founded VIP Magazines 23 years ago in Tennessee and has since expanded the brand with titles highlighting destinations and communities across the Southeast as well as his newest venture, BOAT SOUTH Magazine.
“I am thrilled to bring the years of dedicated readers and advertisers Miles Neiman has developed with Thirty-A Review and merge them into VIP 30A Magazine,” said Watson. “The synergies are tremendous and will immediately enhance and grow our existing 30A publication.”
As the two established 30A brands come together, VIP 30A Magazine will build upon the legacy, readership and advertiser relationships cultivated by Thirty-A Review while creating an even larger platform to celebrate the people, businesses and lifestyle of the Emerald Coast.
“It’s with great pleasure that we pass the torch to Jeff Watson,” said Miles Neiman, founder of Thirty-A Review. “For the past 22 years, Thirty-A Review has covered the people, places and things that make 30A and its surrounding areas great.”
