Café Thirty-A, located at 3899 East County Hwy 30A, is set to host their annual Christmas Charity Ball on Saturday, December 7 benefiting Caring and Sharing of South Walton.

In honor of longtime owner, Harriet Crommelin, who passed away in 2023, this year’s event will be presented by three Harriet Crommelin Honorary sponsors including Earl Bacon, the Ellis Family, and Thomas Howell Ferguson.

From 6- 10 p.m., the restaurant will be closed for the private soiree and transformed with festive holiday décor, courtesy of Theresa Felton with La Florida Properties. Guests will be greeted upon arrival with complimentary valet, provided by All Access Coach and Leasing, and a glass of champagne to toast the evening, presented by Thor Construction and Design.

Inside, Café Thirty-A’s culinary team will be serving a variety of hors d’oeuvres, including hand-rolled sushi, as well as a dinner buffet featuring some of the restaurant’s signature dishes. There will also be a dessert spread sponsored by Haney Holloway, LLC to top off the evening of culinary delight. Throughout the night, guests will sip cocktails from the cash bar, sponsored by All Access Coaching and Leasing, snap a festive photo in the Epic Photo Co. photo booth courtesy of A BOHEME Design, and then dance the night away with DJ Casey, sponsored by Marsh Lending. There will also be a special appearance from Santa, courtesy of Centennial Bank. Attendees are encouraged to dress in evening attire and black tie is optional.

“We invite the community as well as our longtime patrons to kick off the holiday season with us,” said Jackie Maliszewski, co-owner of Café Thirty-A. “We as owners, along with our staff, love to host this event each year and it’s the perfect way to start the season of giving and helping those in our local community who need it most.”

The evening will boast one of the area’s largest silent auctions, sponsored by disco in Rosemary Beach, featuring items from various local businesses, as well as a generous raffle package, with one hundred percent of the proceeds benefiting Caring and Sharing of South Walton’s efforts to provide food and financial assistance to local area families and individuals in need. In 2023, the annual Christmas Charity Ball raised a record-breaking $64,000 through ticket sales, donations, raffle tickets, and auction sales. For area businesses interested in silent auction donation, please contact Jessica Bracken at [email protected].

Café Thirty-A would also like to thank the additional local businesses and individuals for sponsoring this year’s event, including Kiki and Cory Herrman of Counts Real Estate Group 30A and Hannah Martin of Coast Luxury Real Estate.

Tickets are on sale for $150 in advance or $175 at the door, with one hundred percent of the ticket sales and auction proceeds benefiting Caring and Sharing of South Walton. These funds will go directly to providing neighbors in need with access to food, financial assistance, counseling, case management, and connection to other community resources. Tickets can be purchased online at www.cafethirtya.com.
