For most of us, our office is truly a home away from home. We spend countless hours at our desks with co-workers who become like family overtime. With this fact in mind, Jessica Proffitt Bracken, President of Proffitt PR, wanted the building that housed the office of Proffitt PR to be more than just a meeting space, but a collaborative work space that reflects her personal style, taste and motto of “hustling in heels.” Today, we want to give you a look inside Proffitt PR and the creative space committed to serving the Proffitt PR team, it’s clients, and of course, family and friends. Located in The Market Shops at the entrance to Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, we welcome you to take a behind-the-scenes look at where we spend our days.
Oftentimes the first thing people say as they enter the front door of Proffitt PR is how well it’s decorated! Inspired by her mother in law, Jessica created a warm yet functional welcome for all who enter the office. This area is used primarily as a space for guests to wait, a meeting place to catch up or a space to just sit and read one of the many local magazines stacked on the table.
What started as a simple seat in a local coffee shop has since grown into this beautiful workspace. As you enter through custom made barn doors by PPR client, Chi-Mar Construction, an 11-foot-long Justin Gaffrey custom piece of art adorns the wall behind Jessica’s desk. Determined to help local businesses succeed in all they do, ranging from social media management to public relations and event planning, a lot of hustle is represented on these four walls. And of course, there’s always room for Champ, Jessica’s Goldendoodle, that oftentimes accompanies her at the office.
The Proffitt PR team, now a group of four go-getters, each sit in an open yet private space which enables a collaborative work environment that is free of distraction. Hard at work crafting press releases, editing photos, curating social content for clients and more, the Proffitt PR team is always busy behind an Apple product hard at work to ensure client satisfaction in all that they do!
Aside from a large shared conference room whose walls boast local artist Modus Photography photographs, to round out the Proffitt PR office, a circular table, fondly known as the Proffitt PR internal conference room, for team meetings was a must-have. This acrylic table perfectly complements the décor while subtle touches, such as the pineapple center piece, make the space hospitable and warm. Furthermore, when the Proffitt PR team breaks for lunch, this meeting space transforms into a lunch table filled with girl talk and weekend plans.
The office space is pulled together by the keen attention to detail. Not only is the space beautifully organized thanks to custom built-ins by Proffitt Home Services, it’s given an added elegance, thanks to the Ro Sham Beaux and other designer chandeliers courtesy of Beautiful Lights, with a little dash of rustic glam, as displayed by the metallic cowhide rug and faux longhorn.
